Where in the world has time gone? I got way behind on updating the site. Enjoy our end of the year snapshots! (Yes there are a lot and yes, i don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to adding these pics on here so I apologize how it looks on your screen!!)
Kirbys Family came out in the beginning of November. We had an interesting experience of riding the light rail The boys loved it!
| First trip on the light rail |
| Waiting forever for it to pick us back up (found out that had been a wreck which is why it took so long.) |
| Fun day at the musuem. |
| They love their cousins! |
We held a "mock" vote for snacks during The Presidential Election. The boys loved it and ask to do it again often. Maybe soon!

VERDICT WAS.... Popcorn won!!! We had one upset little guy. It was a tough lesson to learn.
T AND MOMMY DAY!!! Every month mommy or daddy go on a "date" or "boys night" with one of the boys. He was so excited to have the one on one attention with mommy..

| My little artist, loved painting his own snowman ornament! |
Then came Thanksgiving....
| It was a fun School day. |
| Special treats I made for a Thanksgiving party we had with some friends. |

We started December out by celebrating K's 6th Birthday!! It's so hard to believe how big he is. Makes me sad to think about.
| Look at that tongue. He received the helicopter (like grandpa's ) that he really wanted! |
| Spent the evening with our cousins playing in some tunnels. |
| We even got some early Christmas gifts in. |

| Gift #2. |
We Ended our night looking at lights...Another fun family tradition...
Here we are at Zoo Lights. A yearly tradition we all enjoy!

We ended 2012 by enjoying an extended trip (3 1/2 weeks to be exact) with our family back home. I was honestly nervous about making the trip for that long because, well, if you've traveled with 5 people, 2 dogs and my over-packed suitcases for more than a week, back and forth between two different cities an hour apart, you'd understand. Surprisingly, the trip went really well and rather quickly. I would do it again, but not so sure my husband would agree. :)
Here are some road trip surprises I made for them:
We were so glad that it snowed a couple different times so the boys were able to play in it with both sides of our families.
We kept pretty busy for the most part as you will see in the following pictures:
| One of the reasons, we headed back early was to celebrate my dad's birthday!! |
| Shooting guns. The first few days back wasn't too bad out. |
| They really enjoyed Grandpa's new toy! |
| Too cold for a campfire! |
| All the cousins had a few days to play together. It was great! |
| Found some fun crafts to do during our down time. |
| Cookie time! |
| They were blessed with a train from Big Pa and GiGi. They Love it! |
| Our friend Nake Arrived before us. |

Play time with Daddy!
| BOYS BOYS BOYS...(cousins) |
| Cuddling with Mommy. |
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
We spent Christmas Eve with Kirby's family. It was the first year in a while that everyone was home for Christmas. What a treat for his grandma! That night, we headed to my parent's house so that we were able to spend a few hours with my sister before she headed to her in-laws for the day. We didn't get to spend Christmas with my brother, which I was pretty bummed about, but we were able to make it up by celebrating a 2nd Christmas a few days later.
| Ok, this picture says it all...All we had to do was give him this shirt (Kirby's aunt got it from him) and his whole Christmas would have been made. He spent the rest of the night, showing EVERYONE the shirt and couldn't wait to put it on. Silly boy. |
| SOOOO proud. |
| Someone messed with his train!! That's a BIG NO NO NO. |
| All he wanted was a telescope and map. |
| Christmas Morning....Waiting for the big reveal! |
| Do you see that he has the shirt on? He begged to have it put on the next morning. The tiger is a gift from Keaton that he picked out himself. SO sweet. |
Santa had left us one more special gift while we were gone. Guess it was too big to make the trip to KS.
