It's a K kind of day

K has had some exciting accomplishments that I have to share with you.

Starting last fall we signed K up for wrestling. When I married Kirby, I knew that if we had even one boy, I would see wrestling in my future at some point. I never, in my wildest dreams, expected that I would end up with three boys and the possibility of ONLY seeing wrestling in my future. HA No gymnastics or dance lessons for me!

I'm not surprised at all to say that K actually really enjoys it. He does struggle with being thrown to the ground or just hurt in general (which REALLY pulls at my mommy heartstrings), but he hasn't given up and always seems to want to do it again.  He has a lot of work to do to be able to really compete at the same level of the other boys in his weight division, but I do have to say one thing about my little guy. HE IS A FIGHTER!! He has been from the very beginning and I can tell always will be. He does his very best to not give up.

K also was star student of the week at his Wed classes this month:

On top of these awesome accomplishments, K also finished level 1 in his Reading and Spelling Book. I am so proud of how hard he has worked. He is reading so well.  To celebrate, we skipped the school work and had a WINTER PARTY.

It began by waking up to "snow" in our classroom...We had a snowball fight which was a blast!
Estimate how many "snowballs" there are.  Isn't quite fair though when little brother sneaks some of them beforehand.

Winter Bingo

We read The Snowman then watched the movie immediately after to compare the differences and similarities.

Mesmerized.

Snack time...Making snowmen.

CONGRATULATIONS LITTLE MAN!!! I am so proud of you.
