Taking a break and Celebrating!

Both boys finished a level of their reading programs. We are so proud of how well they are doing!

T is now working on AAR Level 2. Little stinker saw K's words in AAR Level 3 and was actually reading them very well, but we will continue through Level 2 so we don't miss out on some of the rules.

K has moved on to AAR Level 3. It was completed and ready for us to start just in time. We only had to wait 2 weeks!
We were so excited.

Last year when K moved up from Level 1 to Level 2, we had a winter party and T remembered. He could not wait until he could have his "snowball" fight. Unfortunately I forgot to get any pictures, but we woke up the next morning and had his snowball fight (which really was only paper). We then celebrated by heading out to the Natural History Museum with some friends. It was a lot of fun to check out the dinosaurs that we have been discussing during Bible. Of course, Kirby very quickly reminded us to not read any of the lies they have in regards to when they were here and how they became extinct. :)

As soon as we got there, he asked for a picture and chose this specific place.
