Family is extremely important to me, as well as any type of celebration and when I get to involve the two of these things together, then, well, I'm one happy person! My husband has done an amazing job of spoiling me every year on my birthday. This year we headed off to a resort (thank you Priceline!) for two nights. It was absolutely beautiful. It could have been a little warmer, as I dislike being cold, but despite the chill, we absolutely loved it!! The water was 85 degrees, but was so cold getting out. It definitely didn't stop the boys from swimming.
All Ready to Go with Our Sleeping Buddies In Tow (These sleeping buddies are extremely special as they were handpicked by K at Awana's on Store night. His brothers are so in love with them. Way to go K for having such a kind and giving heart!)

| There was a beautiful path and lake with some great birds to look at. Can you see the Great Blue Heron behind them? |

A game of Bocce Ball...T won! It was a close game though.

Always tight sleeping quarters...They did well though. The boys have clocks that turn green when they can get up at home. It makes me laugh whenever we go anywhere and don't have them. It's always the same conversation: "But how do we know when we can get up if we don't have our clocks?" LOL we have them trained well. Poor kids. One day they will realize what we have been doing to them and probably hate us forever. ha. Kidding. As long as my kids think the whole world still naps and must stay in bed until the green light comes on then, well, so be it! :)
Some Birthday Fun!
