Day 97!

Only 3 more days until our big party and we are all so excited!! We have been talking about this day from the very first day of school and it is so hard to believe that we are almost there.

I would like to point out to any wondering minds that our 100 day countdown days are specifically days that we have spent at home learning. I have not included most field trips (maybe a couple if it was meant to be for our theme) and I have not included K's homeschool enrichment classes.

Very recently, both K and T have really enjoyed their Legos more. We often find them working in their rooms building things together before we even get out of bed. It usually goes very well until little brother, C, destroys their projects. :)

That being said, day 97 was a lot of fun for the boys. Daddy left them 100 Legos to be creative and create something together. They were required to work together cooperatively (TEAM WORK). They did very well and spent quite a bit of time working on their project.

The creative minds at work. Although, they worked together, K did do a very fine job of managing (or I would consider as bossy) the job. It's something we've been working on lately. He will definitely be a leader one day with these skills.

Daddy snuck in to see how the project was going. He decided to throw in a little of his expertise too.

The final product. A boat with wheels? LOL (It began as a boat with no wheels, but since there were wheels they added them. I suggested making a car or trailer to pull the boat, but they had their own minds made up.)
