Today Daddy wanted to see if we were 100 unifix cubes tall. We counted out our cubes and placed a pink or green cube (I couldn't find enough of one color that I hadn't already used to do that!) for every 10 cubes. This allowed us to count by 10's as we measured. We then taped them to the wall and measured everyone in the family.
Here are our measurements:
Carsten: 45 cubes
Treyton: 52 cubes
Keaton: 58 cubes
Mommy: 78 cubes
Daddy: 90 cubes
None of us made it to 100.
The boys then drew pictures of themselves and recorded how many cubes tall they were.
