First Bus Ride!

K has been longing to ride a bus for quite some time. He has asked me on numerous occasions when he will ever get to ride the bus. He has finally had his chance! His Wednesday classes visited our local Sea Life Aquarium and ate lunch at a nearby park. I had originally planned on attending with him, but offered to let Kirby since I am usually the one who gets to visit K's class and be apart of his fun activities. T, C and I met up with them all at the park for lunch. It was a beautiful day, well spent.

The morning of, K who had been counting down the days, came in with a huge smile on his face and said, "Mom, I dreamed I was already at school today!" He was so anxious.

Since Kirby was riding with him, I didn't worry so much about the whole bus ride, but after the park, I took Kirby with me to run a couple of errands while we were in town and let K ride on the bus back to school so he could finish his day out. It was then I started to fret a little. With all the stories lately, it just made me a little nervous. As I slowly drove past the bus I peeked at the windows to see if I could see him. I almost missed him, but looked back a second time to see him smiling huge and waving big at us. He was so cute and it made me so happy to see him so excited. :)
