Our 100th Day!!

Our 100 Party Activities!
It has finally arrived! The day we have been talking about since the first day of school. They boys went to bed talking about it and wondering if we would work on our workboxes first or after the party.

K and T were up and dressed for the day before I even got out of bed. We began our day with a special breakfast:

Then we found and read Daddy's special letter and to their surprise, we had the day off from workboxes and their cousins would be joining them for our party! They have worked so hard and deserved every bit of a break.

We couldn't forget our party hats that they were thrilled to put on again!

Being silly with their little brother.
We began our activities by making fruit loop/cheerio necklaces. They had to cover their hundred charts with their fruit loops and use a cheerio on every 10th place. T wasn't too thrilled with the activity at first since it took so long (he just wanted to eat them), but he finished it and of course enjoyed it in the end.

Even Carsten was patient enough to make a little bracelet.

Party ready!

Of course, Dog and Bear must be in the picture.

While we waited for our cousins to arrive, we read a couple of 100 themed books:

They were so excited when their cousins arrived:

Their cousin thought we were having a Birthday Party. He didn't quite understand what was going on, but still seemed to have fun!

Then we built a tower with 100 cups. This was fun for all of them, until little brother thought it was more fun to knock it all over so then they just started kicking it all everywhere.

Last picture I could get before it was destroyed by little C.

Next, we had a scavenger hunt for 100 items:

I asked if 100 items was heavy. Although, T was struggling a bit, he says, "NOT FOR ME!"

Snack time!! They were asked by Daddy to use the snack items to make the number 100 before eating it.

I couldn't get these pictures to rotate for some reason, but T and K chose to use the snacks to write their names on their own.

After snack, we headed out to jump 100 times on the trampoline.

Then we spent the beautiful morning at the park: (While we were there T discovered a root underneath the tree. I forgot to snap a picture, but he was quickly "teaching" his new friends what he knew about these roots.)

Silly boys on the way back from park.

We finished with a picnic:

It was a fun and successful party! Their cousin left us saying "Thank you for letting me come to your Birthday Party." LOL

We have really enjoyed our countdown to 100 and will actually miss it all! I'm really thankful to my dear friend who provided me with some really great ideas! When I asked the boys which activity that daddy had left them they enjoyed the most , they said they really enjoyed the candy hunt we had on day 90. They also said they liked making the party hats. They thought it was a lot of fun!

Now, I leave you with our different ways of counting to 100: (Videos to hopefully come if I can figure out why it's not working :( )
